After, the doctor then returns the epithelium in order for the system to heal faster.

Finally, epithelial laser in-situ keratomileusis is the third type of laser eye surgery in texas. With Epi-LASIK, the epithelium layer is gently separated with an instrument, an epikeratome. The epikeratome creates a synthetic epithelial sheet that covers the eye right after the laser fixes the issue. This is best done for patients who have the most sensitive and imperfectly symmetrical eyes.
